Goat's Milk is prized for it's wonderful skin care qualities. The Goat's Milk, which contains vitamin D, softens skin and has a delicate creamy lather. Milk naturally contains vitamins A and D, which helps to make your skin soft, yet strong. The Lactic acid in milk has natural beta hydroxy acids which not only exfoliate your skin, but sooth it. The natural ingredients found in Goat's milk improve the appearance and conditions of your skin. As milk eliminates dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, it adds extra moisture.

Glycerin, a product of fat and lye, is the primary moisturizing agent in soap, as it absorbs water from the air very quickly, which attracts moisture to one's skin when used as a soap additive. Glycerin is removed from the soap product in grocery store brands, however, (although some glycerin inevitably remains), which is why grocery store brands have a tendency to dry out the skin after washing.
