The inspiration for this extra soft silk wrap was the Red Rock Formations that are a part of The Grand Canyon and Sedona, Arizona. The color pallete includes all the shades of chocolate brown, from creamy milk to deep rich dark, along with burnished coppers, chestnut, mushroom and taupe.
This lovely wrap is a part of the "Silk with a Voice" series. This is a series of scarves and wraps that are designed to reflect your mood, your thoughts or just encourage you as you face your day. After all, who said that a scarf should be a quiet accessory?
"Rock Solid" is meant to be worn on those days when you need to remind yourself that you are a strong woman and can face anything that your day throws at you.
This wrap measures 22" x 72" and falls beautifully around the shoulders or around the waist. It is the highest quality Habotai silk with hand rolled and hand stitched hemming. It is completely hand dyed and steam set and can be handwashed in cold water, rinsed with a bit of fabric softener and then ironed while damp. The care is really easy so you can wear it often.
Hand dyed silk will have no "feel" left on the fabric by the dye as the dye bonds with the silk, whereas hand painted silk will have a "feel" on the fabric as the paint sits on top of the silk.
