I have not been able to identify this building, but feel that this is a later postcard, perhaps from the late 1940s or early 1950s. American troops were stations in Amberg, Germany, until troop reduction not very long ago. This is one of a series of photographs of the same building, depicting a modern looking front. Divided back, unused. Publisher Verlag Photo-Frey, Amberg, printed on back. Card stock a little brown, light staining.
