Inspired by the quote: "What is laid down, ordered, factual is never enough to embrace the whole truth: life always spills over the rim of every cup." Boris Pasternak (Russian novelist, poet and translator, 1890 - 1960) - - - - - I have recently been working on a series of still life images, of which this was the second. Long-term illness has made it difficult for me to get out and about to do any landscape or portraiture work, so I do my still-lifes on a homemade studio in my living room!
