This necklace is intended for men but of course anyone can wear it! It's a part of my Tie Bead necklace series.

This particular tie bead is 30 mm and made of black glass. (Se picture with centimeter scale for further reference.)The stringer decoration is made of silver glass from Double Helix wich make it a bit more luxurious.

The tie sits on a 3 mm black leather cord that closes with a 11 mm, silver plated, lobster clasp. The necklace is 46 cm long.

All my lampwork beads are carefully kiln annealed for durability and they are properly cleaned.

All metal parts are nickel safe according to EU standard.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

The Tie Bead necklace series It's hard to find jewelry for men and yet more and more men are interested in decorating themselfs a little extra. Also, my husband and male friends have expressed that it's a pitty only women can wear my beads as they are so fascinated by the art of lampwork. So I worked out the Tie Bead concept! The shape of the bead is to remind of a tie (duh!) with the hole going through the "knot". All the beads are striped - most of them diagonally - to further ressemble of the silk ties mostly seen on men. To suit men even better, men I've choosen a quite thick leather cord for the necklace and the lobster clasps I use shall not be too small.
