Spelt is an ancient form of modern day wheat. Although this biscuit is not considered a wheat free or gluten free biscuit, some wheat sensitive dogs are able to tolerate this relative of traditional wheat. The natural nutty flavor of the spelt flour, along with oats, nutritional yeast, and added herbs make this biscuit a real doggie delight for all dogs. Each bag weighs 5oz and contains 8 large 3" bones. I keep my biscuits on the pantry shelf, but BETTER BONES can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer for a longer shelf life. Biscuits will be baked and shipped within three days of your order.
We use NO soy, corn, eggs, or milk in any of our products. Soy and corn are often used as inexpensive fillers in commercially produced dog food, and are more difficult to digest than wheat and other grains. Soy, corn, milk and eggs are also suspected food allergens.
