This mini quilt highlights a photo of pretty blue Snow Glory flowers printed with archival inks on silk fabric. The photo is surrounded by crazy patch of assorted ivory, beige, and soft colored cottons. A Deep blue piece of silk adds an accent. The vinelike freemotion quilting is done with an iridescent thread that pulls the shimmer of the silk through the cotton areas. The silk photo and blue section are edged with a black with gold metallic yarn couched on, and the edges are bound with the same yarn.
