Crafted of sterling silver with a carnelian stone, it reminds me of a thermometer! Everytime I look at it, I think 'heat', so that is what its called.
Process: I began with sterling wire and sheet and some fine silver sheet - which I cut, formed, soldered to create the basic setting. Then using hand tools I textured and formed the piece and set the stone. I added a light patina to bring out the textures and then gave the pendant a light polish
Materials: Sterling and fine silver, carnelian, leather cord.
The pendant is strung on a leather cord that has been knotted on both ends to make the necklace 100% adjustable - wear it short or wear it long, you decide! Don't want the knotted cord? Let me know. I can cut the cord to any length and add a hook and eye clasp or I can put the pendant on a commercial chain. Contact me for price and details.
