Gourdaments are one of my favorite items to make! These tiny gourds, called spinner gourds, are transformed into unique, one of a kind Christmas ornaments.

The item is about 2 1/2 inches tall and 1-1 1/2 inches across. The dark green with black edges design is done in permanent inks. An eye hook has been added for hanging and a gloss finish covers the entire gourd surface to protect the design and give a nice shine.

I do accept bulk orders for gourdaments. If you would like to request 10 or more gourdaments I offer package deals at discounted prices. Simply contact me for more information!

Some basic gourd info:
• Gourds are non-edible squash.
• There are different curing methods. Our favorite is to scrape off the thin outer layer of fresh gourds then hang them to dry out. The drying process averages about 1 to 2 years depending on gourd variety and size.
• Once gourds are fully cured, they basically become wood and will last accordingly. Just like wood, they will rot if left in water, but otherwise will last indefinitely.
