Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

I used not to be a pearl person. I thought to myself "Pearls are for debutantes and old ladies" and refused to use them in any of my pieces. But then I had to create a wedding suite for a bride, and I ended up with some extra pearls. Just to get rid of them, I used them and combined them with skulls and called them "Not your mother's pearls." What started as a utilitarian destash has turned into a love of pearls. I find myself attracted to colorful pearls (peacock in particular) and pearls with unusual shapes and like to think that I have found a new way to display and old favorite.
