This necklace captures a snapshot of raspberry pink and indigo pin-sized rutiles darting through lavender and violet hues in these moss amethyst gems! Brushed vermeil bead caps add a rustic accent to this beautiful pendant which hangs from 14K goldfilled figaro chains and bound by a (14K goldfilled) toggle clasp.

Necklace measures about 21.9" (55.5cm) long (including toggle clasp). Pendant measures about 0.8” (2cm) wide.

A little history about amethyst:

Amethyst was often used as a gemstone by the ancient Egyptians in jewelry. The Greeks believed amethyst gems could prevent intoxication, while medieval European soldiers wore amethyst amulets as protection in battle.
