Not pierced? Not a problem. 1/2" (12.5mm) copper hoop earring made specifically with the unpierced in mind.
A Brilliance Found classic, this little hoop earring is carefully designed to create the illusion of a pierced hole. It gently 'holds' onto your earlobe and can be worn in various locations on the ear. The edges have been filed for your comfort.
On this hoop, I've added standard 3mm copper beads (securely with a dap of glue) to represent the captive ball rings (CBR) that are common with piercings.
This listing is for a single 1/2" (12.5mm) hoop. Please specify which size you require. Small should be worn by those with thinner ears. Insertion gap is 1/8" (~3mm), but can be adjusted. Large suits those with thicker earlobes; insertion gap is 1/4" (~7.5mm). If you do not specify a size, Large will be provided.
Gently seperate the opening of the earring hoop until you are able to slide it onto your ear. Adjust. Once in position, carefully pinch the hoop just enough to hold onto the ear. Because this earring is so lightweight, it does not need to be very tight.
To remove, either gently pull apart or "rock" the earring hoop until it slides off.
Caution: Please do not over-tighten or over-loosen these hoops, as repeated bending may distort them. When worn properly, they should not irritate the ears. If irritation occurs, loosen your earring hoops by pulling gently to seperate further.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
For many years of my life, I lacked pierced ears. I understand all the traumas and tribulations of loving jewelry yet being unpierced.
At a young age, I developed a series of "fakies" -- real earrings that mimicked pierced earrings. I probably wore about half a million prototypes. Now, I have piercings, but I can still remember the early days.
So now, I share!
I guess this exposes my secret.
