This 17 page tutorial will teach you how to create a pendant that will easily slide onto any chain - even large omega chains. There are 21 steps with large color photos. Using basic metalsmithing techniques, a pendant will be formed from sterling silver with a gemstone bead accent using a telescoping rivet. (copper sheet can be substituted)

*NOTE* the tutorial will show you how to create the first pendant. The other two pieces are inspiration photos to show what you can do with telescoping rivets.

Materials:
• Metal sheet – 22 gauge (3” square)
• Metal tube bead
• 16 gauge half hard wire (4”)
• Gemstone (or glass) bead with a hole that will accept 16 gauge wire
The metal sizes are over what the project pendant uses. This will ensure you have enough to create the piece with a little extra for mistakes.
Tools needed:
• Files – large and needle, various sizes
• Sandpaper (medium to fine grit)
• Metal Shears, tin snips, or heavy duty scissors
• Hammer – ballpein or riveting
• Hammer - rawhide
• Drill and drill bit (drill bit corresponding to 16gauge wire)
• Ring clamp
• Nail (or center punch)
• Anvil or bench block
• Sharpie (or other brand marker)
• Ruler
• Calipers or wire gauge
• Painters tape
• Scrap metals ( 16 gauge or smaller pices stacked) (optional)

The tutorial will be emailed to you in PDF format. You will need to have adobe acrobat reader in order to open and view the tutorial. You can download a free version here:http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Tutorials will be sent out within 24 hours of payment being cleared. (most often much sooner than that though!)

As this is an electronic transfer of goods, all sales are final. If you encounter problems however, I will work with you to ensure a satisfactory outcome. So you can feel confident that you can overcome any difficulties or questions you may encounter, I am also available (within reason) to answer questions and mentor you whenever you purcahse a tutorial from me.
