Theres something about jellyfish... maybe its just how they hang around with the current and manage to hunt and survive. Aside from the stinging part, I really dig them. Pale Jellyfish is pretty easy going. He really would just like a nice home to hang out in.



Pale Jellyfish is crocheted out of white and gray acrylic yarn and wool yarn. Her eyeball is crocheted out of cotton and then sewn on after the crochet part was finished. Hes about 7 inches (17.8 cm) wide at the body and roughly 17 inches (43.2 cm) tall from the top of his body to the bottom of the longest tentacle.



They body of Pale Jellyfish is based on a hyperbolic plane, which means that had I continued crocheting it would have grown outwards away from itself from every direction. I stopped crocheting once I thought it was big enough and added in some freeform crochet for good measure.



Pale Jellyfish is not for children. Shes a great decoration, conversation starter, gift, or collectible.
