When I got these chalcedony beads I didn't know if I should make jewelry out of them, or suck on them! The color is delicious! Chalcedony always tends to change color in different light, and at different angles, but these are REALLY playful! One minute they look bright orange, the next they look more salmon or peach. They are always bright and electric, with an almost shocking inner glow.

I hammered and distressed sterling discs, drilled a couple of holes, and dropped the wire wrapped stones from them, creating a design that is full of movement. I used 24ga sterling wire, which is heavier than I usually use with chalcedony. This added a chunkier more substantial look.

Sterling Discs = 9.5mm (think 1/4")

All wire and other metal components are Sterling Silver.

These earrings can be switched over to Sterling Silver French hook style wires or posts with a ball. I also offer surgical steel French hook style wires for those who are sensitive to silver. If you prefer one of these options, please contact me at time of purchase so I can switch them over.
