This is a great gift for the gardener in your life. I'll start with the cup. It's a vintage Corning mug in a baby blue pattern. Inside, I've put blue tissue paper and included packs of the following seeds for flowers that provide food for butterflies, as well as birds and bees:

- Shasta Daisy - Perennial blooming the second year with pure white flowers with yellow centers. Approximately 75 seeds.

- Cosmos - Self seeding annual with flowers ranging in color from white to dark pink. These are very easy to grow. Approximately 50-75 seeds

- Sweet William - Self seeding biennial blooming the second year with fragrant flowers in shades of white and pinks. This is an heirloom variety dating to the 1700s. Approximately 50 seeds.

- Butterfly Weed - Brilliant orange flowered perennial that provides food for butterflies and is a larval plant as well. Approximately 20 seeds.

- Purple Coneflower - Perennial with beautiful purple and orange flowers. Drought tolerant and birds love the seeds. Approximately 50 seeds.

Tickseed Coreopsis - Perennial with yellow flowers. Drought tolerant and goldfinches in particular love the seeds. Approximately 50 seeds.

All of these seeds like full sun to partial shade. These flowers will provide food for birds and bees as well as butterflies.

I've tied wide paper sunflower ribbon around the mug and cut and stamped a folded gift card on heavyweight pale pink paper, tied with hemp string.
