It seems that every soap maker has at least one vice! Lots of folk that make soap really dive into the "beer soap" thing.
I didn't want my beer soap looking like, or smelling like everyone else's beer soap so I made a few changes to the usual beer soap routine. Still macho manly and all that stuff, but the gals will appreciate this also.
When you pour your beer into a glass, it forms a "foam" or "suds". My beer soap has "suds" on top.
I've decided to give it a "south of the border" feel so included a lemon/lime fragrance. Then, I added some sea salt to the top layer of soap.
This soap contains lots of sudsy lather that make it great for shampooing or shaving and it really doesn't smell like beer. Just a gentle earthy fragrance combined with the citrus fragrance added. Next, sea salt gives the soap a "spa" quality to it. As for the citrus addition, well, that just smells great.
SALUD! It's the English equivalent to "Cheers!" in Spanish.
Approximately 4.5 oz each but they are hand cut and there are lots of variables.
Contains: coconut oil, palm oil, olive, shea butter, canola oil, beer, sodium hydroxide, litsea cubeba essential oil, sea salt. NO artificial colors or fragrances in this soap!
