What a perfect way to bring warmth into the room.This butterfly has been created mosaic style with Italian vitreous glass. What makes this piece unique are the tiles themselves and their colors. The veins on the butterfly have bursts of a metallic purple tile that has lights and darks and reflects the light. It is surrounded by a warm yellow ochre. The thorax has a burnt metallic red tile applied. There are blue iridescent gems at the tips and the piece is finished off with copper antennas.
-The base of this butterfly is made of 3/4 inch MDF and the back is painted a neutral color to blend with the tiles.
-The butterfly measures 14 1/2 inches in width and 13 inches in height.
-There is an inlayed keyhole slot on the back for secure hanging.
