This is a hand-formed and hand painted ceramic tree necklace made by Surly Amy at Surly-Ramics. This necklace has one of our small size pendants.

I have been told that it looks like the tree of life. I just happen to love trees and the nature theme is constantly recurring in my work. I like the symbolism of trees because they represent strength and they symbolize growth both intellectual and physical.

The necklace is painted in a beautiful purple and blue glaze with black, white, green and blue details.

I have posted some photos of one of my models, the lovely Surly Sphinx, wearing a similar necklace.

I stamp every piece on the back for authenticity so you know you're getting an original, high quality, artist made, Surly Ramics design.

The ceramic piece is approx. 2.25" h and has an 18" super soft black faux suede cord.
