Gorgeous, freeform, asymmetrical stones and pearls in subtle, gentle colors make this piece special.
The pendant is a large piece of blue kyanite and some sterling silver from Egypt nestled between bits of frothy green amazonite, creamy mabe pearls, handfaceted peach moonstone with its fabulous sheen and bluegrey stick pearls.
There the design splits-- on one side a Herkimer diamond and aquamarine rough, on the other teal kyanaite.
Finishing the piece are pieces of carved serpentine, palest green garnet, faceted labradorite, mother of pearl and more amazonite.
These colors are amazing together!

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) produced a flurry of paintings, posters and illustrations, as well as designs for jewellery, carpets, wallpaper, and theatre sets in what became known as Art Nouveau (French for 'new art').
He has always been a favorite of mine and this collection focuses on him and another current obsession-- the use of color.
