Redpanda's popular stretchy helm chainmaille bracelet made with glow in the dark, UV-reactive bright green rings and deep black rings.
The glow in the dark green rings are made of silicone rubber. They are UV resistant (meaning they won't fade in the sun) and UV reactive (meaning they glow under a black light). If you hold the bracelet in front of a black light for a few seconds, it will be super charged to glow in the dark for hours. The black rings are made of anodized (colored) aluminum, a super lightweight metal.
Makes a wonderful combination for Halloween!
The helm weave is one of my favorite chainmail patterns. It's also known as the parallel weave. Look closely at the larger, vertical black rings. You'll note they're not connected to any other rings in the pattern directly. They're suspended there by the rubber rings and the smaller black rings. Pretty nifty, huh?
