Journal is 160 pages (80 sheets) softcover, approximately 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and hand crafted by dj runnels, whose brain IS slowly disintegrating, so ordering quickly is to your advantage. Interspersed throughout each journal you may or may not find portions of unusable recipes, vintage cookbook illustrations, heavily doctored photos of loved ones made to look like zombies (and sometimes not-so-heavily-doctored photos), lung x-rays, artwork, fish skeletons, buzzards, tombs, skin lesions, funky color photos of pies that would make you hungry if they were not right next to gross medical text, moldy pizza, the famous Zombie Gingerbread House circa Christmas 2008, skulls, diagrams of the endocrine system, heart valves and deformities. You will not be able to read or use or possibly even stomach most of the recipes.

Photos shown are representative. No two journals are alike. But they are pretty much red with a black and white label on the cover showing a drop of "blood." Expect handmade charm, not machine-made precision, because after all, I am working with half a brain here.
