Narrow stripes of painted fabric trimmed from many of my sunprints have been arranged on a background of a white on ivory fabric. The colors range from blue to lavender, green, pink, apricot and more. Each stripe is appliqued on with a machine blanket stitch in a gold metallic thread. The piece is bound with a narrow satin stitch on the edges. Sized for a standard size frame, or display any way you wish.
My Abstract stripes series of little quilts were done to use some of the many narrow stripes of my painted fabrics. I ended up with lots of these stripes as I trimmed my sunprints to size for other pieces. A variety of widths and colors are used in each piece.
