This is the first of my "Rocky Bits" series of ACEO art cards. This little piece includes part of a photo printed onto silk. The right section is a piece of sunprinted fabric, The upper left is a piece of my mud and rocks fabric manipulated with stitched tucks, couched yarns, with beads and gemstone chips added. There is also a tiny silver tone dragonfly near the flowers. The flower sunprints are enhanced with freemotion quilting and bead centers. Silver tone flowers with beaded "stems" are on the lower left section. The edges are bound with a black,gray and silver yarn.
My Art cards are tiny art quilts made with 3 layers- poly batting is used between the top and backing fabric. The back side is signed and dated with the name of the piece.
This is another One-Of-A-Kind piece that can never be reproduced. It would make a great addition to a nature lover's collection.
