These stars are made by folding delicate and colourful sheets of tissue paper (we call it silk paper in the Netherlands I dont know if its exactly the same thing) and glue them together. If held against the light they create interesting en beautiful patterns. The best place for them is taped against a window.The choice of colours in this one is loosely based on Goethes colour wheel. The pattern I chose has a very nice, simple and rhythmic character. These stars are 22 cm (8,5") across. I have two available, one is as shown in the picture the other one looks exactly the same but the colours turn in the opposite direction, if you have a preference please let me know.*bear in mind that coloured tissue paper is - although very pretty - not light fast and will fade over time, also even the slightest bit of moisture will make the colours run.
