One focal bead, approximately 2 long. The bead was made on a 3/32 mandrel It is waiting for your own beaded necklace design.
Made of pyrex. The bottom petals of this iris flip out a little bit - this little bead has some attitude! Subtle color variations. This bead was with me at Bead and Button, where it met a really unhappy fate with a womans elbow. The piece has since been completely reworked in the flame and kiln, but its a little uneven. It is completely sound, but it is a SECOND and thereby a little less expensive than it would otherwise be. If you are that woman and reading this, please be a little more aware of glass work in the future.
Beads vary a little in size and shape since they are all individually made. Some parts are sculptural and therefore thicker or raised.
My beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for lasting durability and cleaned using a diamond Dremel bit.
