I made wet felted beads, 3/4-1" in diameter, with various pastel soft merino wool colors, to which I added angelina holographic fiber for sparkle! Between the felted beads are crystal seed beads and white rice faux pearl beads. All are strung on clear stretch cording, 24" in length, with a smaller felted bead at the top in which the knotted cord ends are embedded to secure. There is no clasp (nothing will get tangled in it!), as the necklace will easily fit over your head and it also will stretch.

About the wet felted beads: The wet felting technique involves loose unspun wool fibers being intermingled into felt fabric with hot soapy water. Rubbing, rolling, patting or throwing help the wool to felt and "full". The soap is rinsed out before fulling.
Rolling the wool to form a bead must be done carefully to prevent "seams" in the beads!
