Are you looking for costume ears but cannot wear the glue-on latex kind? Then these crocheted ears would be perfect for you! These are a different shape than the regular elf ears I have in my shop- these are not as large or pointy, so would work great for a halfing/hobbit, gnome, or half-elf costume.
The ears themselves are crocheted in tan acrylic yarn with tan pipecleaners crocheted around the outside of them to make the ears stiff and give them the ability to be shaped differently (just bend them gently to adjust them). The ears are sewn onto a crocheted dark brown acrylic yarn headband that ties in the back, making it easy to get on and off your head.
The entire headband is 46" (116.8 cm) long and there is about 10" (26 cm) between each ear (this is the top of the head measurement). The ears are 3 1/2" (8.9 cm) long and 3" (7.6 cm) high at the widest point.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
I came up with the design for these crocheted ears because I'm trying to find alternatives to latex ears that you glue on (I'm allergic). I figure other people also can't use the glue-on latex ones and would like other alternatives, too. :)

These are sized for an adult. If giving to a child, please use adult supervision because the pipecleaners could poke out sharply with rough play.
To wash these, I would recommend handwashing gently in warm water, being careful with the ears so the pipecleaners will not poke out.
