on one side, there is continuous ribbing which adds to its thickness and warmth maintaining capabilities. The reverse is just as pretty and reminds me of a laid brick pattern.
This scarf was made using a really soft yarn which is made up of 80% acrylic, 20% post consumer recycled polyester.

This scarf is a companion to my Pink Coffee Cup Sleeve for Cancer Run Donation.
I really wanted to do something that is greater than me. With October being the official National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I figured that creating pink items and donating a portion of the profits to an organization which promotes education, awareness, early detection, and hope.
A friend of mine, Michelle of GlassIdentities is already connected, through her sister who is a survivor, to an orginization that does races for the cure. In order to run, you have to have raised at least US $1,000.00.
