This is Grimm and his canary. He is 19" standing made of soft short pile faux fur. He was made using a hand drawn pattern and is One Of A Kind.
I handsculpted his eyes and nose, scissor sculpted his muzzle, needlescultped his toes and face.
He is an odd fellow who has an unexplainable tilt to his head, which gives him a curious look about him when his head is turned just the right way.
He loves his canary who is handmade from felt derived from recycled plastic bottles. His fur is an odd color which is what drew me to it in the first place. It has rust/cranberry root with canary yellow tips. His face, paws and claws have gunmetal accents using hematite and metallic polymer.
Grimm is so gentle his claws are hematite round beads so as not to hurt anyone, even his wee bird.
His custom collar is also hematite and steel, made just for him.
Grimm is stuffed with all new materials, polyfil and poly pellets for weight. He is jointed in 5 places with safety lock joints. His eyes are also safety lock with in the hansculpted base.
NONE of my bears are toys! they are for collectors only. They contain small parts and are not weighted for the rigors of play. As always my teddys are from a smoke free home and studio:)
