This is the crown jewel of all my acorn jewelry...the acorn charm bracelet. My usual habit is to embellish my bracelets with lots of bells and beads and accents, but once I got the acorns attached, I thought it would look better to leave it just as it is.
The acorn caps were selected for their size, color, and shape. Then they were soaked and carefully scrubbed clean with antibacterial soap. After being allowed to dry fully, the acorn caps are drilled and sealed with Triple Thick Diamond Glaze.
Inside each acorn cap, I placed a bead. For this bracelet, I used African Turquoise, Chinese Turquoise, ceramic (rose and turquoise with brown speckles), and carnelian for the "nuts." Sizes of the beads range from 8mm to 15mm.
Each acorn is wired onto a brass, double linked chain that has a lobster claw clasp. Total length of this bracelet is 23.50cm or 9.25" in length, including the clasp. This bracelet can be easily shortened for a smaller wrist, just let me know what you need and I'll make it happen.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
I live on nearly four acres of wood and am surrounded by nature. I have, at my disposal, Ohio Red Buckeyes, Contorted Filberts, quartz deposits, and Oak trees. As As I learn more about the plant and geological material that exists on my land, I find it making its way into my jewelry more and more. Even though I carefully select my materials, please remember that they are natural and allow for slight irregularities.
