What hatched from that strange gold-flecked egg was not quite a bird, not quite a dragon... well, no one's quite sure what it is, but it's been named Sahale, strongly rumored to be a Phoenix. Certainly Sahale's story is only beginning...

This lovely little critter is 5.5 inches tall, has a 10 inch wingspan, and illustrates the joy of an artist having an enormous amount of "stuff" lying around, just waiting to be used. Besides a bit of wire armature, this creature is completely comprised of super-soft merino wool with lovely sparkly eyes. And if Sahale does turn out to be a Phoenix, well... why not indulge in your own cute, portable s'mores maker?

Please be aware that this sculpture is not intended as a toy, nor is it for children. It must he treated gently. After all, Sahale is still just a hatchling.
