My newest journal has Japanese Washi paper for its covers and is sewn together with waxed Irish linen thread, using the coptic stitch. Handmade in the storybeader's workshop.

There are a total of 80 sheets of 24 lb. paper, which I lined with single spacing. Perfect for a small journal. The first signature is wrapped with decorative blue starred paper.

Sorry, the journal is currently showing at the Firehouse Art Center. Contact me if you are interested in buying it, and I will removed it from the Holiday Gift Gallery.

I love the patterns and textures of these Japanese papers that I found. Personally, like to write, and so I made my own lined paper, with the computer and printer. But I will be making other journals for drawing in the future.
