This necklace has seven strands of bamboo 10x3 tube beads, two each of tan and ivory strands and three strands of dark mahogany color. These are all strung on waxed beading string. I added three 28mm round cut-out bamboo beads to the group of strands for interest at the bottom of the necklace. The necklace is finished off with four beads from a 12mm disk bead to round beads and attached to a very sturdy hook clasp. The earrings were created to match the necklace and are composed of a 2mm round wood bead at either end, then from the bottom a mahogany colored 15mm wood barrel bead, a heishi disk bead, another larger disk bead then a smaller mahogany colored wood bead. The earrings drop from gold filled french ear wires.
This necklace has a very stylish look to it and because of it's hues, would be versatile enough to enhance many different wardrobe items.
