This unique pendant is entirely created by hand. It starts with a rectangle that was cut from copper sheet. The design was drawn by hand and etched in a ferric chloride solution. Fine silver scroll work was attached to the top and bottom with sterling silver rings. The entire piece has been oxidized in liver of sulfur to accentuate the texture. The finishing touch is an 8mm green amethyst rondelle suspended from the bottom. Eveything hangs from a solid copper chain. Then pendant measures 2 2/4" long by 1" wide. The chain is 18" but can be lengthened or shortened to your preference.
