This is a rather bold piece yet it still has a delicate beauty. The first layer is an orangy/ peachy red then I printed a bolder red on top of that. The final layer with the tree is a deep brown. The bright colored paper chine colled (special glueing process) highlights the piece. It measures 6x6 and is printed on fine japanese mulberry paper with hand torn edges. Professional grade Graphic Chemical ink is used, I only use the best supplies in my work. It is a one of a kind piece and is signed on the back with my signature, the date and numbered one out of one.

My process consists of carving multiple, often intricate blocks of wood, I then hand print them layer by layer until I have a satisfying final image. I highlight vibrant colors, create fine details and textures in all of my pieces.
