This gorgeous Lampwork Glass bead was created by Brynn Foss, an extraordinarily talented artist. With the myriad of colors and the set in beads in the focal bead, my goal was to try to include those colors in the rest of the necklace. I missed the mark, but hope that the bone colored 6mm Fossil round beads, the 6mm Onyx round beads, the Onyx rondelles, the simulated light turquoise 4mm pearls, the 10mm faceted round glass beads and the 6mm Picasso Jasper brown round beads helped emphasize the beautiful palette of colors in the Lampwork bead. The clasp is a wrapped wire sterling silver "S" hook style and the matching earrings consist of the fossil beads, sterling silver bead caps which surround the large black bead and drop from sterling silver ball end ear wires. (I purposely made the earrings basic so they could be worn with other outfits.)
The necklace measures 19 1/2" in length including clasp and the earrings drop 1 1/4" from the ear wires.
Although I don't use Lampwork beads a lot in my creations, if I had more of this artist's beads, I would! It's a very sophisticated necklace and versatile with its swirls of multi-colors ~ suitable for most anything in your wardrobe.
