Misses' Blouse and Pants -- Blouse with long, raglan, bell sleeves and long bell bottom pants. Blouse, lightly fitted by French darts in front, has center back zipper and faced neck, V-shaped in front. Sleeves have shoulder darts. Four section pants are gathered at waist by elastic in casing.

Sometimes it's far more fun to sew something from another time.

Sometimes it's even more fun to update it or make it a little differently to suit your taste.

And sometimes the only thing you can do with that totally awesome vintage yardage you have is build an equally awesome vintage garment. But the only way to make it look "right" is to use a pattern it was meant to be used with back in the day.
