This catnip stocking was knit by hand holding light red and dark red acrylic yarn together creating a thick, durable fabric. It measures 5 1/2" tall and 4 1/2 " long. Kitty would love to get this toy for Christmas! I've stuffed it with a large handful of organic catnip which I grow in my garden, then topped it off with fleece scraps. The stocking was knit in a tight garter stitch to ensure that it won't be ripped by teeth and claws. I've been making these toys for years, and every cat who has received one loved it, and played with it for years.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

I've been making catnip toys for my own cats for many years, as well as giving them to all my friends and family as gifts for their cats. They all finally convinced me that I should be selling these toys. Many people have said that their cat is still playing with the toys as many as 4 years later. I grow the catnip myself and use no chemicals or pesticides. My cats certainly approve! These toys have been tested by young, old, finicky, and lazy cats. They've been a hit with ALL the fuzzies.
