Dark rose magenta felted wool blend flower. Petals are formed from a wool blend yarn sold exclusively by Life's an Expedition. (The yarn is now sold out.)
The fabric was handknit, felted and cut without using a pattern, for a more natural look. Up close, the petals show flecks and threads of blue and other colors. Please see photo.

The flower itself is roughly 4 inches in diameter. Dark green felted leaves. Vintage rhinestone and clear shank button in center. This particular flower came out more threadlike than the others. It will need to be sewn in place along the edges. The price is lower than that of our other floral appliques for that reason.

Whatever garment you sew it to can be handwashed and air-dried, as far as the flower is concerned.

Actually, the flower probably has few concerns. I think it just sits there and acts like a flower.

Go ahead and sew it to a hat, scarf, shawl, sweater, whatever, whether it is one you plan to keep, give away or even sell. I am okay with being part of YOUR craft business, as long as you do not take credit for making this flower. Expect handmade charm, not new or machine-made precision. The button is vintage.
