BASICS: This listing is for a Reversible Lace Up Boned Corset Belt or Waist Cincher in a red plaid taffeta. The reverse is made of comfy red 100% cotton. It laces up using loops and yards of satin ribbon that are long enough to wrap around the front if you want. You can also use one piece to tie in back if you want a plain front. You will recieve 2 pieces each of aqua and black ribbon to mix and match however you want.
This belt is very versatile, you can wear it with either side showing, with one color of ribbon or two, with the ribbon around the waist or in a bow in the back, ect.
CONSTRUCTION: The belt is lightly boned to give it shape and for use as a waist cincher. It isn't designed for very tight lacing but can cinch you up a few inches. It can also be worn without taking your waist in. It is very sturdy with three layers of fabric and reinforcement stitching on the loops. It is made using my own pattern, which is designed to conform to the body. I was inspired by obi belts and the tie in front, although I wanted to make something a little more fitted this time.
SIZING:
THIS IS A CUSTOM BELT so I will need a few of your measurements (see last picture) or choose one of the sizes below. If I have any in stock it will say so next to that size. Otherwise please allow the amount of time stated at the bottom of my shop announcement. If you need the belt by a specific date please convo me. For the back opening, if you would like something specific(like a large or small opening), please let me know.
Sizes:
B (4 to 8) Waist 25 to 27 inches
C (10 to 14) Waist 28 to 31 inches
D (16 plus) Waist 32 to 36 inches
For larger sizes please convo me or check back, I am currently working on another belt specifically for plus sizes.
IN STOCK for immediate shipment: I have one in stock that is approx 23 inches wide at the smallest part, so subtract that from your the smallest part of your waist size and the difference is the gap where it laces up in the back. Its best to have at least 3 inches. It is small to medium.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
I love different cultures and their folk costumes, this belt was inspired both by historical waist cinchers and japanese obi belts. I wanted to make a more fitted belt than the traditional obi and this is what I came up with
