Introducing Roving Singles. This is 1 ounce of super soft Merino dyed with all natural Ironwood. The resulting color is a pretty pale honey or a light, yellow based biege. Merino is so nice to spin and feels great next to your skin. It also felts like a dream!

All of my Merino roving singles come with a complimentary sample of Firestar dyed in the same pot. Firestar is a nylon that has a lustrous sparkle. Another advantage of working a little nylon into your yarn is that it gives it some added strength. It can also help super soft fibers like silks maintain their shape. A little Firestar goes a long way. 8 inches is enough to add a nice glitz to a whole skein of yarn!

This is a special roving that I will only have for a limited time. A friend happened to give me some finely milled ironwood and I am happy to pass on my good fortune to you.
