Each beautiful leaf dangle is actually a real evergreen laurel leaf, which has been preserved in a mixture of 24K Gold and Pure Copper Electroplate. Each leaf drop is made by hand and thus is a unique piece of art, and has all of the natural beauty and irregularity as the real leaf from which it was created. Earring leaves have been selected to compliment each other, but no two leaves are exactly the same.
EARRING LENGTH: Approximately 3" from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the leaf dangle. Each leaf drop is approximately 1.5" - 1.75" long and .5" wide (at widest point).
Please be aware that the leaf drops will develop a natural patina over time, with the color becoming less intense and more golden brown with age.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
These earrings have a feel of reckless abandon to them. However, given that Evergreen leaves are said to symbolize control, perspective, discipline, I decided that "Willfully Wild" was a more appropriate description. The women wearing these earrings knows what she wants and who she is and there's no mistaking her unique and freeflowing style.
ELECTROFORM PROCESS: The electroform process begins with a handpicked leaf that was soaked in a special solution to dissolve the fleshly portions of the leaf. What remains is the harder leaf veins and edges, which are hand painted with a copper based paint to conduct electricity. The leaf is then dipped into a solution of 24kt gold, pure silver, pure copper or a mixture that makes a unique color.
