A juiceglass focal, made with nougat glass, silvered french vanilla stringer, and red dots that made me think of the very beginning of spring when the buds just start to appear. The bead is placed on a handmade frame made out of sterling silver wire, with silver wire embellishments on either side of the bead and frame. This piece is hung on an 18" black rubber cord with a sterling silver clasp. The frame is tumble polished and hardened, then oxidized for a deeper, rustic look.

All my beads are made with locally produced glass, digitally annealed, and cleaned in rainwater from my rainbarrels!

This is a bead I have had for a few months but didn't know how to put into jewelry, until today. It just seemed to need a simple wire "frame," with a little embellishment. It's quiet, like how spring begins before you really start seeing the changes as the warmer weather arrives.
