Meet the Maker: soapdeli

Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen is owned and operated by Rebecca D. Dillon of Roanoke, VA. Rebecca is currently 34 years young and wife to Adam Kendall - the owner and creator of the new handmade community ByHand.me. She has one son, Cody, who's 12 and plans to attend UVA with a major in law and a minor and history once he graduates highschool. Rebecca herself can claim a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Roanoke College where she studied a bit of everything including photography, screen printing, graphic design, pottery, 3-D design, drawing, painting, art history, poetry and even writing. She enjoys reading, blogging and making soap.

Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen was founded in 2001 and currently sells a line of handmade shea butter soaps, goat milk lotions, and milk baths. Rebecca's product focus is always on creating the best cold process, handmade soaps. You'll find that many of Rebecca's handcrafted soaps smell like delicious favorites from the kitchen, and all of her divinely scented soaps contain skin loving ingredients like shea butter, rice bran, coconut, and olive oils. They create a wonderfully, rich lather that you can both shave with or use as a shampoo bar. All of Rebecca's soaps are made from scratch using the cold process soapmaking method, never a pre-existing base. You'll love the difference Rebecca's soaps make on your skin.

All of Rebecca's soaps are made from sustainable palm oil that is harvested in Malaysia.
