Hi, I'm Rosemarie Hanus, a self representing artist working out of my studio in Bath Township, Ohio. I handcraft lampwork (or flamework) beads and marbles. I have been melting glass for 6 years.

I have several different styles that I am now making. One makes heavy use of twisted cane - that would be my donut beads and my nautilus. Another uses fine silver to coax a reaction out of the glass. Yet another uses large pieces of glass to give depth so that you can look into the beads. Of course, sometimes it is hard to tell which style it is, because sometimes I use a combination of several styles.
