In my knives I try to reflect the older style of Arizona and the blacksmiths that came before. I hand forge all my own damascus on an antique anvil, with out power tools. I use a lot of Ironwood and Mesquite for handles, as they were the trees I always looked at as life in the desert. All my knives are made as a one of a kind as I wait for the forged billet to let me see what shape blade is inside. I am now experimenting with different patterns for my steel.
