Meet the Maker: TheSoapSeduction

Hello. My name is Patrice, and not only do I love food (my other shop is The Decadent Flame), I love soap! That's why I named my shop The Soap Seduction. The Soap Seduction was born out of my need to find a product that did not make my already dry and ashy skin even drier and itchy. With tons of practice and trial and error, I have discovered the joy of soap making. It's not only relaxing, but the end result is always, okay, usually rewarding (any soap maker knows that things don't always turn out as planned.)

I've been featured or reviewed on a number of respectable blogs and websites. Here's a few:

Skills and Techniques:
Many of my cold processed soaps are made with palm and palm kernel oils. There has been a lot debate lately over the use of palm products in bath and body products because not all palm products are harvested eco-ethically. My supplier has assured me that the palm harvested for commercial usage was obtained ethically and without harm to its natural habitat. With that being said, my soaps are green and clean!

I use a variety of fragrance, flavor, and essential oils in my products. I tend to stick with the same suppliers who are not just in the business of selling supplies, but who are soap makers themselves, so I trust that the ingredients I use are of superb quality. All of my fragrances oils and soap colorants are skin-safe. I tend to throw in a sample or two with every order-usually one that complements your purchase.
