My name is Asia and I launched xangetsu studio in November 2003. I have several years of anime drawing and have a degree in Illustration Specialization with over 20 years of graphic design experience, 9 of those in web design. I was born and raised in Japan (I am a halfsie) and I love kokeshi dolls and decide to create my own version. I put alot of time, effort and love into these doll charms and name them accordingly and hope they go to good homes!

'xangetsu' is pronounced [zahn-geh-tsoo], meaning 'morning moon' in Japanese (sometimes "cutting moon"). The correct spelling is actually zangetsu.
