I have been sewing since I was 12 years old. I have always loved the "pretty, sparkly" stuff and still do, and mainly work one on one with clients who are looking for designer work while including their own input and ideas. it makes for some fun experiences! I have been sewing bridal and evening wear for 20 years on a custom sewing basis. I also make dance costumes from Belly dance through to Irish dance dresses - with some fun stuff in between!



Necessity is the mother of my inventions and I have always found it easier to make something I need than to search for it and buy it. Often then I am asked to make those same items for others! My latest adventure in sewing is Eco-TAV, in which I can be creative, and use the 3 R's to my advantage and ideally to the planet's advantage too! I reduce the amount of synthetic fabrics I am choosing to purchase, I re-use pieces of fabric I have previously used when I can and I recycle reclaimed textiles from projects that I have completed for my clients!
